Is this the real Rabby Wallet? Check a link or extension ID
Paste a store link, website address or extension ID. The checker compares it with Rabby's official Chrome extension ID, App Store app ID, Google Play package and website (rabby.io) and flags look-alike domains, hidden non-Latin letters and free hosting services that fake Rabby pages use. It runs in your browser.

How to find the ID of an extension you already installed
- Open your browser's extensions page: type
chrome://extensions(Chrome),brave://extensions(Brave) oredge://extensions(Edge) into the address bar. - Turn on Developer mode (top right). Every extension now shows its ID.
- Compare the ID under Rabby Wallet with the official one above, character by character, or paste it into the checker.
If the ID is different, remove the extension at once, then follow what to do if you installed a fake Rabby. The safe download steps are in how to download Rabby safely.
What fake Rabby pages look like
- Pages on free hosting or course platforms with "rabby" in the address (for example a teachable, onrender, vercel or Google Sites page).
- Domains that look like rabby.io but are not, such as extra words, hyphens or a different ending.
- Letters from other alphabets that look the same as Latin letters.
- Paid search ads and "support" pages that ask for your seed phrase. Rabby never asks for it.
Frequently asked questions
Is it safe to paste a link here?
Yes. Links and extension IDs are public, and the check runs only in your browser. Never paste a seed phrase or private key anywhere.
The checker says the link is official. Is that enough?
It confirms the identifier. Also check that you reached the page by typing rabby.io yourself, and that the store page shows a long history and many users.
Does Rabby have a Firefox extension?
Not an official one as of October 2026. Rabby's browser extension is for Chrome and other Chromium-based browsers such as Brave, Edge, Opera and Arc.
I installed a fake Rabby. What now?
Remove it, and assume any seed phrase you typed into it is compromised. From a clean device, create a new wallet and move your remaining funds to it as quickly as possible.
